Bhutan Airlines to resume direct flights to Kathmandu from 30 September 2023
Kathmandu: Bhutan’s first private airline headquartered in Thimphu, will resume Kathmandu flights from 30 September 2023.
According to the company, there will be four weekly flights on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. There is a two-way flight on the Kathmandu-Delhi route.
The company says that with the resumption of scheduled flights, Bhutan Airlines will resume its flights to Kathmandu, which were suspended due to the global Covid-19 epidemic.
In accordance with the commitment to promote tourism and strengthen Nepal-Bhutan relations, Bhutan, known as the land of the Thunder Dragon, started its first Kathmandu flight in 2013.
