Trekking trail connecting tourist spot in Myagdi

Kathmandu: A trekking trail has been built to connect the world’s deepest gorge, Rupse waterfall, and Bajadhunga cave in Annapurna rural municipality-3 of Myagdi.

With the grant support of Annapurna rural municipality, a trekking trail with railings has been constructed from Kavre village near Andhagalchi (deep gorge) to Bajadhunga through Rupse waterfall.

Similarly, ward member Lal Bahadur Pun informed that a place for observation has been made by placing a railing around the hill at the head of the Rupse waterfall.

He said that the trekking trail has been made for the convenience of tourists going to Mustang and returning from there to observe Andhagalchhi (deep gorge), Rupse waterfall, and Bajadhunga.

Annapurna Rural Municipality allocated Rs 2 million in the last fiscal year 2078-79 for the conservation and tourism development plan of Rupse waterfall under the conditional grant of the Government of Nepal.

By means of the trekking trail, one can reach the Rupse waterfall along with Andhagalchhi (deep gorge), observe the hill topography and reach the stone cave that makes the sound of a falcon when touched.

Earlier, the road leading to Bajadhunga was narrow and dangerous. After the construction of the trail, it is possible to travel safely.
