Octopus and Bung waterfall fascinates tourists
Kathmandu: On the road Bensisahar-Chame, there is a raindrop and waterfall falling from a height of more than 100 meters on the road.
The rainbow seen with the sunlight on the water falling adds even more beauty. The Octopus waterfall, which falls like the legs of an octopus, is located at Masryangdi Rural Municipality-4 Chamche.
This waterfall, which is located on the world-famous Annapurna circular trail, which is deserted due to the rainy season, is now crowded with tourists. Arjun Gurung, chairman of the rural municipality, said that domestic and foreign tourists have started coming here daily from 100 to 200 people.
He said, “The number of tourists coming to the waterfall has also started to increase.”Even the tourists who went to Manang by vehicle stopped their vehicles and enjoy the waterfall after reaching this spot. The waterfall easily entices anyone who gets there.
Some of the tourists who are fascinated by waterfalls take their own photos and selfies with their faces in the background.
As this waterfall falls in the middle of the road between Benisahar and Chame, it attracts passengers and tourists who go by motorcycle. Locals say that most of the tourists take pictures of this waterfall and post them on social media.
For some time, only 10 to 12 people who traveled to Manang by vehicle used to enjoy the waterfall, but now the number of tourists is increasing rapidly, according to the locals. Similarly, the number of tourists has started to increase at Bung waterfall in the same ward, which is near the Annapurna trail. It is said that 80 to 100 tourists visit this waterfall, which was deserted for some time.
This waterfall, located at a distance of 32 km from the headquarters of Benisahar, has started to attract the attention of tourists.
