The foreign visitors would have considerably increased, had it been located near Kathmandu valley, Pokhara, or Annapurna region.

However, crowds of tourists have started flocking to this waterfall from the Kailali, Kanchanpur, Banke, and Bardiya districts in Nepal and the border areas of India in order to make TakToks these days.

Especially, the youths and children in the range of 2000 to 5000 daily basis throng this waterfall to romance with this fascinating waterfall.

The tourism operators predict that if this waterfall is properly managed for more tourists to visit it, it may prove to be one of the high potential touristic sights in far western Nepal.

The local people have faith in one of the legends according to which the Hindu mythological God, Lord Vishnu in Satya Yug had washed his head in the same waterfall. Therefore, the locals believe that taking bath under this waterfall will purify their souls and body.
