Kathmandu Durbar Square under new leadership

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Durbar Square Tourism Promotion Association has formed a new Working Committee to look into development works related to necessary infrastructure and environment around Hanumandhoka Durbar Area to attract more tourists.

The Association in a meeting held on Monday announced the new working committee led by Shailendra Man Bajracharya as its newly elected President and Purushottam Dangol as the new general secretary of the committee and Sanjay Man Shrestha as its treasurer.

Dinesh Suwal, Kiran Shrestha, Chiran Ratna Shakya, Dilli Ratna Tuladhar, Manish Mulepati, and Abhinav Das Shrestha are among the members of the working committee.

After taking over the charges of the new leadership of the Kathmandu Durbar Square, president Bajracharya said that the new committee will create a situation for the locals to become self-employed by developing the necessary infrastructure around the Hanumandhoka Durbar Square area in the days to come.
