Gautam Buddha International Airport turning into hub of passengers

Kathmandu: Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) at Bhairahawa is turning into a hub of international passengers after it came into operation in June.

According to the international airport officials, as many as 6320 passengers have traveled from and to this airport in the last two months of its operation.

Jazeera Airways currently is operating three flights between Bhaiahawa and Doha via Kuwait city.

Meanwhile, Wizz Airlines is about to start flights for Bhairahawa from Abu Dhabi which is expected to begin from September end.
