Flood creates havoc in Mustang

Kathmandu: The incessant rainfall has caused floods and flood in Mustang has created havoc by swiping away 10 houses, one police post and one bridge.

Media reports said floods occurred at Baragung Muktichhetra rural municipality-4, Kagbeni in Mustang on Sunday evening that caused great panic for the local people of Kagbeni.

The flood that entered into the houses of people and damaged most of the physical infrastructures.

The damaged bridge, hotels, houses and police host has directly and indirectly impacted adversely on the tourism of this popular destination of tourists said the local authorities.
