COVID-19 cases spike to 243 in Nepal
Kathmandu: Confirmed Coronavirus cases have escalated to 243 in Nepal after 24 more virus cases found on Wednesday late evening.
The infected patients of COVID-19 include 12 from Rupandehi, 8 from Kapilvastu, 3 from Parsa and one from Navalprasi, a statement issued by the Ministry of Health and Population said.
Earlier on Wednesday morning three virus cases were detected.
With this the total number of COVID-19 cases in Nepal has soared to 243 of which 35 cases have been discharged from the hospitals. As many as 208, active cases are sustained.
