Kami Rita Scales Mt. Everest For 24 Times

A Nepali indigenous native Sherpa and senior guide-Kami Rita scaled the world’s highest peak 8848-meter Mt. Everest for 24^th times Tuesday morning and broken his own record.

Kami Rita, who is from the Thame village of Solukhumbo climbed Everest (Sagarmatha), Tuesday morning at around 6:38 am from Nepal side.

Rita also climbed Everest last Wednesday for 23^rd times to own his single world record of the highest ascent. This was Rita’s second ascent of Everest in one season in the year 2019.,

The 49-year-old climber also claimed that he would climb the Everest for 25^th times in the year 2020.

Kami Rita climbed the Everest along with the Indian police team on behalf of Seven Summit company located in Thamel, Kathmandu.

Kami Rita had started his climbing career in 1994. Since then he has climbed various other mountains such as Cho-Oyu, Manaslu Annapurna and K-2.

Now, with this record, Kami Rita is the only mountaineer who holds the world record of climbing Everest for 24 times.
